I have a Zaurus C3000, and have it syncing with my desktop, BUT I want to start using ACT! and it isn't one of the options to sync with. The newer Intellisync versions do sync with act!, but Intellisync states they don't support the Zaurus.

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync a Zaurus using a newer version of Intellisync? Or possibly have a newer version that syncs with Act! I could get from you and try?

UPDATE!

I have read that the intellisync software that came with the 5600 syncs with Act!.

Now I thought the intellisync software that I installed with the japanese drivers for my C3000 was the 5600 software.

Anybody have any thoughts?
Got a copy or link to the 5600 intellisync software?

I took a look at the version that came with my 5600 but there was no reference to Act!  The only options were outlook or palm desktop

hmmm, well here is where I read it would sync with Act!

Makes me wonder if Act! has to be installed in order for you to have the option of syncing with it?

Here is the part of the article I am refering to

"Finally, the first time you synchronize you'll know this is a new handheld. Having not used the Zaurus in a while I'm not sure if updates had been previously available that would give older Zaurus owners the same functionality, but the new sync software is light years beyond the old software I used with my Zaurus. Synchronization is much easier to set up, makes much more sense, and still offers advanced settings. You can easily set your PDA to sync its calendar with Outlook, its contacts with Act!, and its notes with the Palm desktop, all using a TCP/IP connection--and doing all of that with point-and-click interface. It's pretty nifty."

Theoretically possible...  I haven't seen Act! since around '97 though - didn't know it was still around.

I can get you a copy of what I have...  the software portion is about 14MB in size.  Let me know if you want it.

Did this work out for you, were you able to sync against Act?  This is functionality I need as trying to go through the palm desktop and ir from palm to my OZ3.5.3 based SL-5500 is just NOT working out.

No you don't understand.

I am NOT recommending you sync via IR with your palm device.
I am thinking you can sync witht he palm desktop AFTER syncing Act! with the
palm desktop. To do this you will have to actually sync your palm with the palm
desktop, but then you should be able to sync your Zaurus with the Plm desktop
and thereby have synced with your desktop Act.

make sense?

I haven't had time to try this yet, but I'll report back after I do.
