Mount Ipod As Ext Usb Drive
« on: April 28, 2005, 03:10:59 am »
I'd like to create a simple app to manage iPod playlists, and also use it as a big HD with pictures and movies. I expect that USB cable iPod <---> Zaurus shouldn't be complicated. What about software? Will it be supported out of box, or I need a driver?

You'll need a usb host - either built into your Z (sl6000, c1/3k), or via a ratoc card (all other Zs). Then you can access the iPOD as a mass storage device (you need a couple of kernel drivers for this, they are floating about), and do whatever you want with the files.
