you can download 95% of the cacko rom separately, as the "lite" version has a lot less built in and provides the larger packages as ipkgs for separate install.

Hello,
I found solution about mounting cacko rom here https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=11963 - if someone is looking for it, but still I dont know how compatible are binaries between SL-5500 and SL-C7xx? Because I read that I cannot use kino2 on 5500 due to compiled on other processor.
Can anyone clear my mind about compatibility binaries?

thnx  mike

Some binaries you can use, some you cannot.

The 5500 and 5000 have ARM4 processors, while the 5600, 6000 and all the clamshells have ARM5 processors. ARM4 binaries can run on ARM5 processors, but not vice-versa. That's why kino2 will not run on 5500s.

Also, some programs (albeit very few) are designed for the larger screen sizes, and will not run on the 5x00 series.
Sorry. I just don't have the time...
