Anyone else having problems with SD cards? I chroot to my debian install on /mnt/card/debroot, and everything works just fine for an hour or two, but eventually, without fail, everything will start to segfault and require a reboot. I'm going to try a different card to make sure it's not a hardware thing, but this very same card worked no problem on the sharp rom. Just figured I'd check and see if I'm the only one having this problem before I try and track it down.

thanks!

hadn't had that happen. He just updated the kernel, though, so you might grab the new version.

That is weird.  the one thing that is definitely the same across versions and kernels (till the new OZ kernel stuff) is the sharp sdmmc module.  Are you thinking it is a kernel/module compatibilty issue?

If you want my 2¢, this is not due to any kernel but to your card. I had several faulty SD cards. Now my Sandisk 1G works fine (lucky me - in the past sandisk was a synonym for "expected failure in 2 months") even in ext2.

I suggest you try with another card.
