Seems the Kompany rom locates my card and I can configure it but then it possibly shuts it down. When I pull it out it see it being ejected. It doesn\'t even try locating my access point.
I have a Zaurus 5000d ..
Anyone else have an issue with there WiFi card? Or a possible fix.

I use version 1 of the Kompany Rom and I really like it. Bluetooth setup was quick and easy, no software needed, just a bit in the bash and some text editing, many thanks to whoever put the Bluetooth FAQ on this site.
I have purchased the Kompany Calendar, Mail, ToDo and Address Book, I can sync to the Z5500 using the latest Sharp V3 syncing software but all that happens is the text files show up in the docs tab and all the apps are empty. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatfully recieved.

I have installed tkcrom to my Zaurus SL-C860 but I have square boxes instead of letters when I try to edit any entry in any of PIM application ( address book or todo). Any ideas how to fix it?

Which company rom did you install?

Did you format the userspace after installation?

Have you done a restore from an older rom after installation?

The Kompany rom: I used initrd.bin-tkrom-2.2.1-slc8x0 and updater.sh-slc860 and standard Sharp zImage for C860.
Yes, I formatted userspace after installation.
I did not restore anything.
Everything works Ok in other applications.

Try 2.5.1, the one you used is very old.

See this thread, all the apps are now in a feed coded into the install program.

Just a quick note to VG.  You are supposed to use the initrd for the 760 with the updater for the 860.  Thats what I\'m running and it works very well.

I have problem with backup program now. I changed partition size to 25 mb and installed new tkcrom without problem. But when I try to backup my data, zaurus switch to progress bar with 0 % and after 5 sec return to main screen suggesting to adjust time. Any ideas? Thanks for help.

Sorry, I\'ve never used it.

I use rsync to my linux box. It only backs up changed files so works really quickly.

I do seem to remember this being posted as a bug, so I presume it will be fixed in a later release.

Has anyone here tried tkcROM 2.0beta3? It seems to have some useful improvements but I can\'t connect with my D-Link 660W wifi card to the host PC. I am using the same settings as in tkcROM 1.0. The message I get after trying to connect is that I should check my WAP and/or TCP settings (which are OK). Is it only my card, is there a fix, or is this a known bug?
