Kernel update: HowTo
« on: January 27, 2004, 09:40:47 am »
Hi,

I managed to flash my SL-C700 with Cacko\'s ROM
Works like a charm, but not too fast. I read that replacing the kernel with the one Sukoshi build, would significantly increase the speed of the PDA.
My question: how do I replace Cacko\'s kernel for Sukoshi\'s kernel :?:

Would be very nice if someone could help me out here.
Thanx in advance

Grtz
Rob

btw: can anyone tell me how to remove the standard apps I don\'s wich to use? For example Calender?

You won\'t benifit from Sukoshi\'s kernel, the latest Cacko ROM (1.20) already has all the patches from that kernel included.
