C3000 And Qpe Gaim

I've finally managed to get gaim running on my SL-C3000 But it only runs in portait mode and 320x240 at that, I've made the libpng fix so I can acutally see the icons and it functions.

Any idea how to get a 640x480 landscape version, so I don't have to type sideways!!

libgaim versions 0.73-1
qpe-gaim 0.4-1
libopie1 1.0.2
libpng12 1.2.5-10

Rom is sharp.
qtopia 1.5.4
kernel 2.4.20
Model:SL-C3000
Rom Version 1.01 JP

Any ideas welcomed.

Uncheck 'Magnified Screen'
Click 'OK'
enjoy.

PS: Rom 1.01 ? you should upgrade your spitz

I can't seem to get qgaim working.  when i try to install the packages libgcrypt, libgaim-ssl and libgnutls7, i get a message "ipkg says something went wrong" (or something like that).  i DLed the files from the qpe-gaim feed.  any ideas or hints? thank you!

I have Rom Version: 1.01 JP too! Can you tell me how to upgrade and where to find the files?
