D-link Cf-wifi-card Dcf-660w Or Wifi Card & Kismit
« on: June 15, 2005, 05:44:40 pm »
Hi,

I have a symbol wireless card, however I would like to use kismit. I having trouble using kismit with the symbol card. As the Zaurus thinks it is a LAN card, so can not set Network Type: 802.11 Ad-Hoc

I am thinking of buying a D-LINK CF-WiFi-card DCF-660W from trisoft. Does anyone use the D-Link with kismit ?

Or what wifi-cards do work with kismit ?

Thanks,
Brendan

Yes me... or at least with wellenreiter, and not kismEt ... but I assume that if wellenreiter works, kismet should also work too. Oh, and with OpenZaurus 3.5.3 on a SL-C1000, but it's probably the same with other flavours.

Best regards

I have the DCF 650 and it works fine with Kismet. I am sure the 660 will too. This has been discussed before on these forums and if you search, you will find a lot of information. Just make sure you spell Kismet correctly on the search form.
