Empty Files Tab On C1000

Not sure what I did, but... If I open the files tab on my C1000, or use any of the Qt file open dialogs from any app, there's nothing there. The drop down lists My Zaurus and nothing else, even if I put  an SD card in. Obviously I can see all the files from the terminal app.

The situation survives a QPE restart and a reboot. Anyone know how to fix? Is it a shortcut missing somewhere?

This is Kruss' website; at the bottom #14 might provide something useful if I'm understanding your problem correctly.  Specifically, make sure mtab exists (in some form) in /etc.
