Python Install
« on: July 21, 2005, 09:38:41 pm »
Quick question, I found a feed, but not sure what I need to install ZWeather and Treeline are python builds, so do I install all the libraries? Who else has python installed(successfully), any problems?

I have python installed (Kopsis Python), but am not sure what the zWeather package needs ? Point is for the GUI what are the libraries it uses and wether they are workable on the Zaurus ?

Long time ago I had written a weather program on python with PyQT (using QT on zaurus naturally), but it doesnt run on the new zaurii - never got around to fixing it.

So you have to no what zweather uses ate the GUI widget sets. I heard treeline does work.
You can check out the development thread and python for the Kopsis python distribution. It is a full set of python and all its modules (the python executable sits on internal memory and the modules are mounted from SD).
