I am looking for a WLAN card for the SIMpad.
I use WIN CE.

Which WLAN card do you suggest to buy (other than the I-Gate)?

I use the Orinoco Gold card. works perfectly.

I use the Orinocco Silver card. Drivers downloaded from Agere web site work for the original OS on the device and if you flash to Windows CE 4.1, it's plug and play.

There are only few ebay orinoco sellers that would ship to worldwide.

I found this one:
Proxim/Lucent orinoco classic gold card

It says to have the Hermes I chipset.

Do you think that the SIMPad (with WIN CE 3.0 or 4.1) will be able to use this card?
