Installing konqueror has been nothing but headaches for me lately. I have a Sharp Zaurus 5500 that has been freshly flashed with open zaurus 3.5.3 (32-32 collie). Upon downloading the files, I ran an md5 checksum to verify the integrity of both the initrd and zImage. The unit has flashed fine (more than a dozen times) and has worked properly. I then have a Linksys WCF12 for my compact flash slot, and a "PATRIOT" brand SD card that has been formatted to ext2. These are the steps in order from originally flashing the Zaurus.
1) Launch Package Manager, update lists.
2) Install konqueror onto SD card with force dependencies on.
Just after those 2 steps, the zaurus will install Konqueror. I then try to launch it, and for a good 10 seconds the icon will stay on the bottom launch bar. Then after that, various applications will stop working, like Console and Package Manager. I then manually restart, and it will boot up, but not get past the Open Zaurus screen (no INIT either).
I'm assuming something is corrupting the system once Konqueror is installed. Any suggestions on how I should be installing this correctly? I've flashed my zaurus about 10 times already just trying to get this to work.
