I've been reading this forum for the last few days, waiting for my CL-3000. You guys are great!
My CL-3000 arrived today and I've been able to get most stuff working. This modem is a puzzler, however.
I tried using minicom talking to /dev/ttyS3, and nothing happens.
Here's what /var/log/messages says about it:

Aug 3 04:01:35 localhost cardmgr[86]: shutting down socket 0

I saw another thread where someone said he had it working on a 5500. Has anyone gotten this to work on a 3000?
Failing that, does anyone have a 56K modem they can recommend?
