Streamline Support To Zug
« on: August 09, 2005, 10:39:54 pm »
We have been speaking with Offroadgeek for a while on a way we could help support ZUG as well as help in the development of new innovative ideas for the Zaurus and possibly more like it in the future. StreamlineCPUs has decided we will be contributing to Zaurus usergroup for each customer that makes a purchase and enters the Zaurus user group website on there checkout at our website. All you have to do when purchasing a product from us is enter the ZUG website where it asks for your contact information and a portion of that will go to support future ZUG. We would like to thank Offroadgeek for his dedication to this forum and we would like to also thank all the devlopers who continue making the Zaurus the Linux PDA of choice.

I also applaude streamline's and trisoft's involvement in the community.  I'm waiting for the cacko rom for the 3100 or an announcement of new Z before I make use of this contribution.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens

Its nice to have a distributor being a part of the ZUG community. And Trisoft/Steamline have always provided regular prompt feedback on the forums whenever any distribution/purchase/support questions popped up.

I guess this provides an incentive for us to buy from Trisoft as well as provide an incentive to Trisoft to support the ZUG in some way possible.
Kudos to this joint effort...

Just so everyone knows, 100% of the  money received from this partnership will be used to support the development teams, most likely in the form of hardware.

Also it's good to know that coredump on the OE team received a new akita (C1000) thanks to the support of streamline and trisoft.  Both Stephen and Marc are a pleasure to work with.

And thanks to coredump for the great henteges rom!
