Union Station Encounter!
« on: July 28, 2003, 07:04:22 am »
I was at Union station, on platform 3B bound for Pickering this past Saturday.  As I was walking down the platform I saw someone on a PDA.  Wasn\'t I surprised when I saw it was a 5500/5600, with a WCF12 card.

Just curious if this was any of the other members of this forum?

I should have stopped and said hello...

Maybe next time.

I don\'t think Union has any wireless access points.

Wasn\'t me... I have an MA701....

There is a wireless access point in Union Station right beside Harvey\'s (replaces one of the pay phones)...   I\'ve tried it out and it\'s very fast...

Union station does have some hotspots.  Ma-Bell.

There\'s one on the lower floor that I know of, may be more.  They replaced the payphone with the hotspot.  Box about the size of a payphone with a DSL modem and AP.
