How To Wake Up Z With Ko/pi?
« on: August 24, 2005, 09:20:23 am »
Hi all,

Is it just me or does anyone else require Z to wakeup from suspend when an appointment or alarm is due?

There seem to be a solution here https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...&hl=alarm&st=15 but it is for pdaXrom and the links to the ipkgs only list the files but are not downloadable.

Frankly, I was somewhat surprised when the alarm didn't wake up Z when it is suspended ...

ideas?

EDIT: Topic Description changed.

Hmmm. . . not sure what the problem is--my Z wakes up on KO/Pi alarms all the time (much to my wife's dismay, especially early on Saturday mornings).

Have you done any editing to apm or the suspend/resume scripts?

hmmm ... nope ...

is it because I set it too close to the current time?

EDIT: ok, testing with the custom alarm using the applet for 3min ...

ic ... so if I want it to sleep for 5seconds, I issue "apm -s 5"?

or "apm -s 0:00:05"?

How To Wake Up Z With Ko/pi?
« Reply #7 on: February 14, 2006, 07:59:59 am »
Hi all,
I have exactly the same problem... Z goes to sleep and does not wake up by the alarm (I tried both using Ko/Pi and opie-alarm).
I also tried the "apm -s..." thingy, my Z goes to sleep after i type the command, but does not wake up (that is until I wake it up manually).

can somebody please shed some light on the issue,
Thanx
