Where Are The "guts" Pictures Of The Zaurus Pda's?
« on: August 28, 2005, 09:44:22 pm »
Could anyone point me in the right direction. I wanted to take a look, and I can't google them back.
Might be interesting to put them in the Wiki as well.

I took some pictures of my 860 when the SD slot got stuck.  They might be a useful starting point.

See this thread for details.

I missed that post originally... yes, good pix... I was looking at the area around the irda port, am thinking that if one removed the IR emitter and receiver, there might be enough room for a bluetooth module.... see my other thread.

Thanks. I still can't seem to open mine, for some reason. I have a stuck SD slot as well (no idea why, it just stopped working), and wanted to take a look before sending it in.

I seem to remember that unjamming mine was really easy.  Like you it was just a last ditch thing before sending it in but it was so easy to fix once I did get the case open that I would suggest you persevere.

It's not the unjamming that's hard, it's getting the damn case open. It seems to be locked by screws/tabs I can't see at all.
