Definitive List Of Software In Landscape Mode.

I just got a new 3100. Much to my dismay, I just discovered that most add-on software operates sideways on this unit: very tough to type that way with one's head cocked to the side against one's shoulder. Also, after awhile, pain develops in the neck....

Can everyone post lists of 3rd party add-on, open source or commercial, software that they have tried or use that 100% works with 3100 in keyboard mode? I would assume that if it works with 3100 it probably also works with 3000 and 1000, as such, 3000 and 1000 software that you may have used would qualify for this post.

Is there a utility that can rotate the screen so that the program would be upright in keyboard mode even it it is still narrow as in portrait mode?

I would appreciate it.

In my experience the Rotate utilities cause problems and are best avoided.

Here is my list of apps that automatically orientate themselves on my C1000 to suit the screen position:

I searched everywhere in the menus etc on textmaker and on stage one: where is the option to orientate to landscape screen? What did you do to make them work that way?

hold the icon down with stylus and you get extra options.  disable magnify to disable the forced portait. i run textmaker just fine.  also inlanscape mode(keyboard mode)

i have an sd camera which records video and i can play my sd video with kino2 just fine as well asf fle or divx.

as a matter of fact, i run every single software just fine from my 5500. Too many software to list but ill try.

And I thought I would have to use half these programs sideways. The Zauraus rocks! light years ahead of the palms I have been using.

so i take it you learned how to fix the rotate problems.

have you tried my oslinux or gant theme from zaurusthemes or kino2 from my zaurusvideo?

how about my snes package from this forum?

With TextMaker don't forget to install TextMaker-HiRes_2002.ipk
