3.5.3, No Room
« on: September 28, 2005, 11:44:47 am »
I have tried to upgrade the kernel in 3.5.3 on my 5500 following the guidelines on the OZ web site. But when I run ipkg update, then ipkg upgrade in preparation for upgrading the kernel, the Zaurus says there is no space available.

I can't upgrade the modules in order to upgrade the kernel to fix the button problems. Any suggestions? Is it necessary to use the 64-0 image, or will 32-32 work also?

Thanks,
Ted Parks

Make sure you comment out all of the feeds except for the collie/upgrades onw which you just added, otherwise you will run out of space.

The exact memory layout of the kernel makes no difference.
