Zaurus 3100 Ssl Mail Client
« on: October 02, 2005, 05:52:24 am »
Hello fellow Zaurii friends,

I am a new Zaurus user - I have bought a 3100 in Japan.

I used Terminal to just switch the Zaurus to English.

It's a great machine - but I am a bit of a newbie.

I would like to know how/where to get an SSL enabled mail client for the 3100.

The default mail client does not seem to support SSL - and I do not like the idea of sending passwords in the open when I connect in hotels, WiFi hotspots, etc...

Can anyone advise me?

Thanks!

I think the e-mail client from [a href=\"http://pi-sync.net/index.html]http://pi-sync.net/index.html[/url] can do this.

It can - I've been using it with SSL.

The OM/PI client is improving, but it still has some user interface oddities - for example, it would be nice not having to confirm each message deletion, have it cache messages, etc.
