Gdisk For Zaurus?
« on: October 12, 2005, 07:19:51 am »
Any chance we can get this ported to the Sharp ROM?

http://gdisk.sourceforge.net/

It's a nifty (and lightweight: 512kb) application that allows you to use your Gmail as online storage. It's a bit like having a network drive, I guess. Mac users will be familiar with it because of its similarities with iDisk.

Imagine how much space this could free up on the Z!

This Linux app does the same thing:
GmailFS  -- don't know which one would be easier to port.

This one actually runs on Debian arm and can be used on the Zaurus if you run it under pocketworkstation.

Don't you need the FUSE kernel module in order to use these?

I've been trying to compile FUSE 2.4, but I can't seem to find the right PdaXRom RC11 kernel sources or headers, so I can't get a version I can actually insert.
