Problem With Hidden Ssid

I have never been able to get my 5500 to associate to AP's that are not broadcasting thier SSID's. I am using an ambicom WL1100C card and right now sharp 3.10 rom. I have checked the config files and the ssid is shown in the config but it just won't work. If I set the AP to broadcast the SSID it will hook right up with no issues. I have tried several different AP's and brands and have the problem across the board.

Anyone wanna take a stab at this?

Don't know what to tell you really. Even with my laptops using certain cards seemed to give me this same problem. I couldn't associate until I set the SSID to broadcast.

With TKC rom and a Pretec card, all I had to do was use network connection tool in the bottom bar, and set up a network/wifi connection to use that ID.

Well after I finally tried everything I could and not being able to find anything wrong. I reflashed my 5500 reinstalled everything and it now works. So I have no idea what the problem was, but it works now.
