Yes, this was a bug which I thought had been removed.
Assuming this is still afflicting the RC builds could you add it to the bug tracker please.

ACK. I'm having trouble with my SD and my CF-card.
dmesg starts with
wrong magic
mmcda: mmcda1
FAT: unable to read boot sector

Kernel: 2.4.20 cause no networking yet just the OZ OPIE 3.54RC
cardctl tells me:
Socket0 there is a 3.3V 16-bit PC Card
Socket1 : no card.
But both cards are mounted and accessible.
SD is a Kinston 1GB Elite Pro (50x)
CF is a Trancend 1GB CF card (45x).
When removing/reentering the CF the applet in the taskbar interacts, with the SD card it doesn't. But it is the SD card that is working properly. I always flash from SD.
