Scl-3100 Lan Adaptor Help

i have a Sitecom LN-013 (RTL8150 chipset) adaptor

i've installed the netswitch package from meanies site.

i plug the device in and plug the cable in and although the 100 light is set green eth0 doesn't register as active under ifconfig...

when i do an lsmod the rtl18150-1 driver isnt loaded

i did an insmod rtl18150-1 and it brought itself up!

so it looks like i'm going to have to start it by hand .

anyone know what i need to edit to fix this!?!?!?!

your Zaurus probabaly doesnt know yet that a sitecom card has a rtl8150 chipset. try running depmod -a

whoops i'd like to apologize for my complete brain fade on that one mate . i , errr , typed ldconfig instead of depmod previously....and then freaked out and just posted...guess getting the whole gprs thing to work fried my head .

Strangely enough its working now .

I'll get me coat.....
