Thanks for that. I have downloaded the files and shall install them later.

I have just finished my present book so this is a good opportunity to check out your app  before I start on the next one.

Hello,

feature set is very close to opie-reader one. FB2 format is supported in FBReader, but not supported in opie-reader (This format is quite popular in Russia, you can visit fictionbook site for details about this format.)

Also FBReader is more configurable than opie-reader.

I installed the app and gave it a quick run, as you say it has lots of configure options.

One of the features which endears me to Opie Reader is the automated selected word look up in dictionary, in my case zBedic.

I didn’t see that as an option in FBReader though I may have missed it. Is it included and if not do you expect it to be at some point?

I couldn't give this a try on my Z because I'm using OZ. I did however install the FBReader with GTK+ interface on my desktop and it works great!

I see you have a binary package for OpenSimpad... would it be possible for you to make one for OpenZaurus?

I'm now reading 'The Bourne Ultimatum' in FB2 format that I found on the site you have linked here... good book!

Thanks

Greg

and when i save chinese files in UTF-8,some character at right are hidden.....

Hello,

could you, please, sent me file in GBK and big5 encodings? I can't understand Chinese, but if JustReader works fine with these files, I could make the same view in FBReader.

Thanks geometer!

It works very well on OZ... now I can finish the 'The Bourne Ultimatum' without sitting in front of my desktop.

There are many good books available in this format on that Russian website.
