I'd pay to get wifi into my 700/760 so I can use the CF for a minidisk.

I'd also pay to get a compatible/standard RAM > 64mb... oike, say, 256mb?  :-)

Just curious: what's your definition of hardware upgrade?

I had a SL5500, then upgraded my hardware to a C860 and then to a C3000 using the same software. And added a WLAN card, a GPRS card, a GPS card. But I think this is not meant because most of us have done this...

I voted, my antenna is an upgrade.  I have this idea to add bluetooth and another antenna like my wifi one, that would be cool.

I think he means a microdrive, most people have never heard of a minidisk, or what they really are.

as i remeber minidisc was a mini cd that used both optics (like a cd) and magnetics (like a floppy) to record the data, popular with sony and in japan, failed to get traction anywhere else in the world

man, minidisks  I bought 4 mini disk players/recorders and bought hundreds of lil disks cause I thought they were going to be the future, but it never happened and we ended up with all these mp3 players instead

btw, is swapping the microdrive with a flash card considered a mod? i am gonna do that once I get my baby back from Sharp.

you just need to shave a little off the minidisc case to make it fit, then, fit a small motor inside the Z to rotate the disk, and an optical pickup to read the data. trivial really!
