Zaurus Usb-networking
« on: November 06, 2005, 11:04:35 am »
Hello,

I am using OZ on me Sharp Zaurus SL5500g since version 3.2.

Since upgrading to 3.5.3 I am not able to get usb-networking running.
Within my Gentoo kernel 2.6.12 I have build in all needed functionality and the usb0-interface comes up correctly. But if I try to bring up Zaurus' interface it fails.

The problem is not solved with current Version 3.5.4RC, yet.

Does somebody know something about those probs?

thx
jonatan

can you give the series of steps you go through to get it up on your Z? I've got mine working correctly(the networking, can't transfer files or internet yet, but it will eventually work)
C3200(exiguitas) Angstrom Beta(version not designated)/GPE
SL-5500(immotus) OpenZaurus 3.5.4/GPE, OpenZaurus 3.5.4/Opie(loopmount)
1GB SD Card
128MB CF Card/8MB CF Card
Gentoo/Windows XP Home SP2
