No GPS signals when using QpeGPS with Deluo CF GPS unit

I cannot get any GPS signals when running qpeGPS application anyone with a hint please share. I tried suggestion from

http://qpegps.sourceforge.net/docu.html to change gpsd arguments from default setting -p /dev/ttyS0 -s 4800to to -p /dev/ttyS3 -s 4800 with no success.

I have sl5500 with Sharp ROM  ver 3.10, Deluo CF GPS
