Root Partition Size
« on: February 02, 2006, 02:27:45 am »
After trying pdaxrom and Cacko, I decided to move to Cacko as the stability is one of my first priority on my list.

I have installed the full Cacko 1.23 and found that it used up all the root partition. So does it means that I can't add anything to root but /home only?

Since I want to change the fontdir but it refuses to write the file after amending fontdir, so I suspect it's due to the disk full. Am I correct? (I am root already and cannot write)

I will re-flash the lite version but I wonder should I partition 19MB only (as it says in the release note).

If not 19Mb, what size you guys ususally do?

you have to remount root rw, like this, mount -o remount,rw /, then you can edit.
