Qpegps Problem
« on: December 08, 2005, 02:47:51 pm »
Hello all,

I have installed OpenZaurus 3.5.2 and Opie on my SL-C750. I want to be able to use my  Bilionton CF GPS with qpegps.  I have installed the setserial-2.17-r0, gpsd-2.6-r1 and qpegps-0.9.2.2-r0 packages. I have changed the option in qpegps to /dev/ttyS3.

I can run
Code: [Select]
gpsd -p /dev/ttyS3 -s 4800
telnet localhost 2947
r
and see the NMEA  output.

When I run qpegps, the status light for gpsd is green but the GPS light is red and it displays  "No GMT signal rcvd".

Can anybody help me?

Thank you very much!

Thank you so much! It works now. It has been a week (including two nights without sleeping) since I started to try to get this thing working. I tried everything: Cacko ROM (4 versions 1.22/1.23 Lite and full) and  OZ 3.5.3. I now have the right software. You saved my third night

Thank you very much!
