Mount Mmc Card
« on: December 13, 2005, 03:15:16 pm »
How does one mount a MMC card (SanDisk 32MB)?
IN the device tab of the System Info I can see it but it is not automatically recognized

I have tried to format the MMC card with #mkfs.msdos /dev/mmcda1
and I get a message of:

mkfs.msdos:Attempting to create a too large file system

and then I am back to #

Any and all help is appreciated.

I finally got it to mount
I followed the instructions here [a href=\"https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Step-b...ing_for_newbies]https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Step-b...ing_for_newbies[/url]

but I did a P, to see how many partitions there were and I had 4, 3 of which were bad, so once I deleted all 4, formatted the MMC it would mount.
