I do alot of a photography with my digital slr and I was curious if anyone has compiled/written any software to convert raw images to something useable. I know I could just shoot in jpeg, but the quality is lacking.

Imagemagick can do this. It can do quite a lot with images, and is available for pdaXrom. (Don't know about other roms) I'm not going to list supported formats here, cause the list is huge. Which specific one do you want to know.
.RAW is supported, .JPG, .XWD, ...
