How Do I Install Hentges Rom On C1000?

Hi,

I downloaded the zImage and initrd.bin and updater.sh from his site, but then after the rom installs, I get a huge amount of "permission denied" on many directory(s), I also can't get pass the cardfs thing.  It says should I search for it (Yes/No/Never) no matter what I type it doesn't do a thing.

Do I need that cardfs?  Where do I download one for C1000?
How do install a cardfs?  The site has a broken link.

Please help me with some good old instructions and links.  I've heard that this rom is great because it installs almost every opie app so that really isn't much to install.

I also use my Zaurus a Personal Video Player.  I need a good video player for Xvid avi files.

You shouldn't have seen any such errors after installation.
Probably your downloaded image was damaged.
Also, the CardFS installer shouldn't even show for you as CardFS is not needed on an Akita. This tells me that the installation was incomplete.
