Sl5500 With Sandisk Wi-fi Card
« on: December 25, 2005, 05:31:00 pm »
I just recently received an SL5500 i've tried using the method described at here to load the prism2_cs (i'm honestly not sure how if its really a prism card, not sure how to find out, model # is SDWCFB-128), and whenever i insert the card i get a hard lockup, can't do anything without doing a full reset (if there's something better tell me).

i'm not sure what to do i'm tempted to try one of the open rom's but i haven't been brave enough yet.

sorry for the double post but an edit didn't feel like it'd be correct;

ok i've managed to get it flashed with opie/OZ its working great, but i don't have the prism2_cs module to use my wifi card, and orinoco_cs doesn't seem to work with it according to the windows drivers (and strings) it is based off a prism chipset at the very least, i'm getting OZ updated with opie's package manager right now, then i'll try compiling everything myself on the zaurus, wish me luck i'll report my success here
