My 5500 hardware in the C760

Spectrum24 Wireless networker:
Recognised by C760, connects and works with great range.
Tray icon is always red (normaly not a good sign) but the card actualy works fine.
This card uses minimal battery - expensive but a good buy.
Wont work with Kismet.

Buffalo WLI-CF-S11G
Recogniised by C760, Tray network icon red (even when next to AP) no connection/connection errors.

D-Link DCF-650w.
Works great with/without wep - beware this card will suck your battery dry!
Does work with kismet.

Origo Wireless Compact Flash Card - Works perfectly.
Works also with kismet.

Pretec CF Modem 56k (Ipaq part number 148908-031) completely compatible.
SL 5000D, SL5500 - tkc rom / C760 - proto 2.5.1 - javab0y /Spectrum24 / Dlink DCF650w / Buffalo wli-cf-s11g / Origo Wifi / Compaq B21 Cf Modem / EagleTec CF 10-base ethernet / Various SD/MMC / Socket Bluetooth / VW Golf GTIT (debian integrated supercharger - honest) ;-) PPC2003.net with TomTom Nav 5 - TomTom is blinding GPS s/w - sorry but nothing on o/s comes close to TomTom (wish it did).

I\'ve just bought a Buffalo WLI-CF-S11G for use with my C750. I\'m glad I didn\'t see your post before I bought it or I would have been put off.

It actually works fine although I get frequent problems connecting after I\'ve been using another CF card.  Battery life is reduced but I get about three hours of use out of it on the standard C750 battery.

To overcome the connection problems (it just reports that the network is offline), I\'ve tried switching the Zaurus off and on again. That seems to work sometimes. Or rebooting.  I\'m currently running with \'Connect Automatically\' switched off and getting fewer problems but it\'s a bit early to say whether that\'s the solution or not.

saiten - I\'ve never heard of origo, and a quick google search didn\'t come up with much... I\'m looking for a new wifi card for my 760.  Would you mind posting a link on the origo?  Also, that\'s not short for orinoco right?  (I do know the orinoco name!)
