I Met A Problem In Cacko, Is It A Bug?
« on: December 30, 2005, 01:53:55 am »
today, while i'm going to play my c1000, i open the lid and press the on/off button, as the screen is going to light, i pressed the button again unconsciously, then the screen went off. and i tried press the button several times after that, the screen won't light

and then i tried to reboot with reset key at the back, the system begins to restart, everything looks normal until the "Starting Linux and Qtopia" screen shows. THEN IT WENT OFF AGAIN! and after the black screen, i can hear the "DingDong" sound telling me system is started

i'm sure that my battery power is enough.

i know reflash/reinstall may solve this problem, but i really do not want to do that

anybody could help me? Thanks

This may be the known bug with cacko that turns the screen brightness to nil, thus leaving you with a black screen. It's happened to most cacko users at one time or another, try pressing function 4 to increase brightness.
