Sl5600: Used Wrong Updater Script.
« on: January 21, 2006, 02:54:04 pm »
I was attempting to update the ROM, I had the zImage and the initrd.bin that I wanted but forgot to copy the correct updater.sh script to my CF.  I attempted to perform the flash, it spit out some errors before the screen went blank(too fast for me to read). When I try to turn it on the screen stays blank and will not do anything.  I can still get to the maintenance screen but it will not update when I try to update it now. I was trying to flash the Sharp ROM with OZ. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks,

if you can get into the diagnostics menu you can reflash your device(holds true for the sl-cxxx series, not sure how the 5x00 series is)

My screen just goes blank after I select update.
