mini-HowTo: Installing dictionary browser Zten on zaurus SL5500
Zten, a japanese dictionary browser/lookup, you\'ll need to install dictionary books, fonts and some tweaks to make it visible on zaurus SL5500.

You need to Open a konsole, switch to superuser and create directory \'dict\' under your CF/SD card.

# mkdir /mnt/card/dict or # mkdir /mnt/cf/dict
Now, copy those downloaded books to this \'dict\' directory and unzip it, you can delete the source after unzipping.
Assumeing you are already done the transfer of dictionary books to \'dict\' directory.
# cd /mnt/card/dict or # cd /mnt/cf/dict
# ls <- list available book under \'dict\' directory
# unzip edict-fpw1.2.1.zip
# unzip wordnet-1.6-fpw1.1.2.zip
# ...
Repeat unzip command for each dictionary book.
3. Change working directory to fontdir and do font file linking.
# cd /opt/QtPlamtop/lib/fontdir
# ln -s monafont_110_50_t10.qpf lcfont_110_50_t10.qpf
# ln -s monafont_130_50_t10.qpf lcfont_130_50_t10.qpf
4. Download and install Zstyle, Unismall and Cyberbit unifont.

Startup zstyle, goto font tab (i.e. second tab from the left), select Unismall, size 10 and tap OK.
A Restart Qtopia popup and awaiting your response. Tap \'No\' to close the prompt. Instead of restart Qtopia, you are required to reboot zaurus to switch the UI font.
After rebooting, Your english UI font should look smaller than previous.
The cyberbit unifont provides additional unicode for soft keyboard input. This provide a simple way of input japanese character (Katakana, Hiragana). You may consider other better input method likes:

You are now ready to startup Zten, goto Application tab, tap on Zten icon, the program startup with english UI.
First, tap on Setting and select lcfont 12. Qtopia will re-map it to lcfont(monafont) point 11 as its soft linked at Step 3. The same for lcfont 10. For lcfont 16,18,20 and 24, it will map it to lcfont(monafont) point 13.
Next, tap on first small icon on the top icon bar, a Select Books screen will popup, highlight book that under left pane and tap right arrow icon at the middle of the screen to add book to Selected books pane. After your selection, tap OK to close the screen.
You will see a list of your selected book appears under the Book List tab. \'Check\' those book that you will use it to perform the lookup/search.
Now, goto Search tab, enter the word and perform your search.
6. Done.
