Using Xmms With Equalizer
« on: February 08, 2006, 06:56:10 pm »
I installed Meanie's x/qt cramfs and that works great (thanks Meanie!!!).
Xmms works just fine mp3 wise.
But there is one small problem , the equalizer doesn't work at all.
If I try to change its settings by dragging the sliders the application (xmms) crashes.
If I just load an vqf file from my winamp the equalizer loads but doesn't appear to affect the sound in anyway
I heard somewhere on the forum people saying that equalizer in xmms works if ran from Debian ,does it work?
Are there any other ways?

But did you try running xmms from inside debian?
Somebody claimed here that this is how to make equalizer to work.
