getting to the last Wait 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for like 9x then stalls, any ideas?

most probably you installed something which caused this behavior. what u need to do when you see "Wait 1,2,3", press "/" and you'll get the command prompt. Then, uninstall the latest package you installed using ipkg remove command.

funny, I re-flashed, could have saved alot of headache, oh well, it was a tweaked package of zstyle that was being a pain. I will have to make a small note of the forward slash dealie.

yeah, me too i had a problem with zstyle.... "/" is very useful in this case
