Opera Segfaults
« on: February 16, 2006, 10:19:08 pm »
I flashed Hentges 3.5.4rc onto my SL-5500, and installed opera (thanks, Greg2!). When I try to start it, it segfaults on me:

Code: [Select]
/opt/QtPalmtop/bin/opera
QDir::readDirEntries: Cannot read the directory: ../apps
opera: Could not find "ini/standard_voice.ini"
opera: Could not find "ini/standard_mouse.ini"
opera: Could not find "ini/standard_keyboard.ini"
opera: Could not find "ini/standard_mouse.ini"
opera: Could not find "ini/standard_keyboard.ini"
opera: Could not find "ini/standard_voice.ini"
Segmentation fault

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Thanks,

Yep, same problem. Had to use a older version from http://www.zaurususergroup.org/UpDownload+...t-lid-213.phtml and even then there are still some issues.

I had an older version of 7.55 working fine with 3.5.3...I may try to revert back to that and see how it goes.

I would use Konqueror, but it is forever crashing when loading images.
