Hdparm And Cf Cards
« on: February 28, 2006, 02:55:12 am »
I am trying to figure out where to add an hdparm command in the pcmcia initialization sequence in order to get my microdrive working better. It seems like I need to change the apm setting in order to make the drive work.

Thanks for your help,

Hi Henry,

usually, the script /etc/pcmcia/ide is responsible for mounting a CF card on insertion etc. So the command should go there (inside the start section probably).
