Adjust Mouse Speed
« on: March 06, 2006, 07:56:03 am »
Hello,

is there a way to adjust the speed of an external USB mouse in Cacko ROM 1.23b1 on SL-C3000?

Mine is too fast for my taste!

Thanks

have you installed inputhelper? if yes look at inputhelper.conf there a a multitude of mouse cursor tweakings in there, also look http://tbox.jpn.org/wiki/linuzau/wiki.cgi?InputHelperApplet, near the middle there are some references to acceleratrion and steps, that should do what you need.

the tracers only appear with te modified kernel, I read it on his site somewhere, something about the lcd buffer being enabled during compile, if someone would like to compile tetsu's kernel with this buffering disabled we should be able to get rid of the tracers, but not sure how this will affect video performance or other lcd operations.

Thanks, this looks promising. However, I can't read the Japanese page and online translation is blocked by the local firewall (don't ask me why!).

Do you know which one is the needed parameter? accels lookgs good, but I'm not sure.

Thanks
daniel
