Help- Touchscreen Problem
« on: March 18, 2006, 12:33:59 pm »
Hi all,

When I try using the handwriting applet the screen will not draw accurately from the stylus-
it shears off into jagged edges. Also in painting and drawing programs the same thing happens.

Circles and squares etc draw fine it is just free drawing results in a series of jagged lines.

Dont know if this is software or hardware. Everything else seems to work ok.

I would appreciate any help with this.

Is it possible to reset the machine or would a reinstall help?

Thanks in advance

Had the same problem with my old TH55 Clie.

Try recallibrating the touchscreen.

If that doesn't work, it may be dirt trapped under your screenprotector.
Remove the screenprotector, wait for say an hour (for the touchscreen to "stabilise") then try writing on the bare screen.

Checked the clock settings: PXA250

When i change to NORMAL the screen drawing seems to go back to normal.

Many thanks.
