zbedic 1.1-1

I compiled the desktop version of zbedic 1.1-1 for pdaXrom. It requires sqlite_3.2.1_armv5tel.ipk and readline_4.3_armv5tel.ipk which are in a official feed.

--
zbedic now can be run on desktop! Binary packages for Debian and other Linux distributions are available starting from this release. This release has also several improvements for the Zaurus version: images can be included in dictionaries, redesigned 'add dictionary' interface and new file dialogs.

Gngeo 0.6.12 - Optimized for ARM-Linux

Gngeo 0.6.12

An amazing Neo-Geo emulator! There's another ipk kicking around, but it doesn't display properly in the newer versions of pdaXrom.

You'll need to download a Neo-Geo BIOS for this to work. Easy enough to find with Google. Unzip it and copy over the files Gngeo complains about.

Runs great for smaller roms. Anything bigger than a few megabytes will need to use swap, though.

I have compiled Pioneers 0.9.64. It is a version of the game Settlers of Catan for computers. I tried it, and it seems to work OK. Setting up games is a bit odd, and the scrren is too big for the Zaurus, but other than that it is fine.

Enjoy!

Edit: You have to edit the .desktop files to get the nice icons to show up and to put the programs under "Games". Edit the line "Icon=..." to include the full path. Then, add "Game;" at the end of the "Categories=..." line. Once you have done this for all three files, restart X.

http://wepattack.sourceforge.net/
you can download a wordlist from there,
it's need libpcap
http://zaurus.spy.org/feeds/cacko/pdaXrom/unstable/

Sylpheed 2.2.7:
Lightweight, fast and very feature-rich graphical email client.
Remove the old sylpheed package first. This version adds a lot of bugfixes and new features over the pre-installed one.

Streamtuner:
Great application for browsing Shoutcast and other streams and starting playback (mplayer) or ripping (streamripper, see below)

Streamripper:
Plugin for Streamtuner for recording and splitting a stream. The stream ends up in one MP3 file per title with correct artist / title file names (provided the straming server sends correct metadata).

sitecopy:
For FTP-based automated website synchronization (local host/remote server)

libetpan:
Compiled as a requirement for sylpheed-claws. A package for sylpheed-claws will come later maybe.

More packages will come.

Our Zaurus download page:
http://www.hermocom.com/en/download/zaurus/

All mentioned packages are available in this feed:
http://www.hermocom.com/feeds/pdaxrom1.1.0beta3/

I have compiled more WM applet, someone is pretty and more lite.

But all this applet on my Z have a problem, cannot be moved. Its position is left-bottom. And for close this applet, you must use kill .

If someone know how to make it, can help me ?

The applet is WMTOP:

wmtop is a WindowMaker dock app that displays the top 3 CPU-consuming processes in graphical form - like 'top' but pretty and using less real estate on the screen; there is a switch to allow display of physical memory usage rather than CPU usage.

This is the source site:
http://wmtop.sourceforge.net

This is the .ipk:

If i use xfce the problem there isn't, with the option -geometry the applet can be moved right.

The problem is with Match Box .... :-(

NoteCase 1.1.9 (Updated from contrib/zdevil)
-- NoteCase is a free hierarchical note manager program
-- Developer's website: http://notecase.sourceforge.net/

xpad 2.1.1 (Updated from contrib/zdevil)
-- xpad is a sticky note application written using GTK+ 2.0 that strives to be simple, fault-tolerant, and customizable.
-- Developer's website: http://xpad.sourceforge.net/

poEdit 1.3.4  (editing locale files made easy~~!!     )
-- poEdit is cross-platform gettext catalogs (.po files) editor. It is built with wxWidgets toolkit and can run on any platform supported by it (although it was only tested on Unix with GTK+ and Windows). It aims to provide more convenient approach to editing catalogs than launching vi and editing the file by hand.
-- Developer's website: http://www.poedit.org/

(To run poEdit, you need to install wxWidgets, either the smaller one in the official feeds, or the full package below which contains all the libraries, headers, etc, for building other apps)
(You may also want to install GtkSpell attached below for spellchecking functions)

wxGTK 2.6.2 (= GTK2 build of wxWidgets)
-- wxWidgets lets developers create applications for Win32, Mac OS X, GTK+, X11, Motif, WinCE, and more  using one codebase.
-- Developer's website: http://www.wxwidgets.org/
-- Note: This is a full package containing all the things for building apps requiring wxGTK. For running apps only, the wxWidgets pacakge in the feeds should also do.

GtkSpell 2.0.11
-- GtkSpell provides word-processor-style highlighting and replacement of misspelled words in a GtkTextView widget. Right-clicking a misspelled word pops up a menu of suggested replacements.
-- Developer's website: http://gtkspell.sourceforge.net/

knowde 1.8.0
-- Knowde is a knowledge management tool that lets you create a hierarchical tree structure of knowledge nodes ("knowdes"). Despite its name, it's not a KDE tool, but uses the GTK+ library and aims at supporting both Win32 and Unix-derivate systems.
-- Developer's homepage: http://www.lieber-media.de/knowde/
-- Strength: Keyword assignments to nodes, search for keywords + sorting
-- Note: This package is compiled optimized for Z. The source has no icon so I add one from the icon sets from zaurusthemes.
