« on: February 20, 2004, 03:17:55 am »
Hi there,
I\'m a linux-newbie who likes to use the Opera browser on his c760 sharp rom. When I start opera clicking the icon the opera window appeared for about 0.5 second and dissappeared again.
Starting the app from console brings up the following message :

]SIShareManager : can\'t get proc entry
]Display size = 480x640
]could not open translation file /home/QtPalmtop//i18n/en/libsl.qmid
]opera :Could not find \"ini/standard_voice.ini\"
]opera :Could not find \"ini/standard_mouse.ini\"
]opera :Could not find \"ini/standard_keyboard.ini\"
]opera :Could not find \"ini/standard_mouse.ini\"
]opera :Could not find \"ini/standard_keyboard.ini\"
]opera :Could not find \"ini/standard_voice.ini\"

What\'s wrong ?

Here are the system infos of my c760:

 Linux kernel Version: 2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix
 Compiled by Sharp
 ROM Version : 1.20 JP

 Qtopia for OpenPDA
 Version : 1.5.4
 Compiled by : Trolltech

 Built on : Jun 11 2003

Thanx for any help !!!
Regards,

Where did you get this version of Opera from? I couldn\'t find an IPK for it.

Oooops...
Yes, the application starts well, but if I enter a web page address to go to
after a few minutes the message appears :

] could not connect to remote server http://www.....

NetFront 3.0 works fine.
Is there anything to configure in Opera ?
I found nothing that helped...8-(...

The c760 is connected to the network by a Billionton CF-Lancard.
As I said above NetFront and normal network operations work fine.

Any idea ?
Thanx for help !!!

Regards...
