Looking For Apps!
« on: April 01, 2006, 04:45:14 pm »
Hello,

is there any apps that view .chm (Microsoft HTML Help)?
is there any project planner/management apps for zaurus?

KO/PI is good for (Tasks/Event Management) but no project management!

I am using Cacko Rom v1.23

I saw there is a package name Planner but it is for pdaXrom using GNOME, is there any thing similar?

Thanks in Advance.
Regards Dat.

Thank Your mandjab,

I thought that would be the case, because I have been looking and never find one. There is one, but it was for pocket PC.

Anyway, I guess I would do what you suggest (Extract chm to html).

opie-reader has some chm capability. I don't use chm files myself and the codec was developed by someone else (thanks Bob) so I don't know the extent of the support for chm but I do know some people use it.

The version for Sharp compatible roms can be downloaded here.

It can open the chm, while cannot decode it very well. I have problems in reading some books.
Meanie, can you also integrate the xchm into xqt-apps? I'm using your xqt squashfs packages. It's great!

Thank your Meanie,

I'll take a look at this (X/QT)

My First thought would be, does it take a lot of resource?

I did have a look at opie-reader, but it doesn't display properly on my Zaurus (SL-C760) But I'll take a second look at it again.
