3.5.4.x Upgrades
« Reply #135 on: June 13, 2006, 02:34:12 pm »
ant: I will not because:

1. They are NOT in OpenEmbedded.
2. They are NOT maintained
3. They are hardcoded too much get them built (tried in past).

And they are for Qtopia so only for OPIE not GPE it be possible..

Hrw, would I be right in that the above gpe-login fixes the repeated loggin in and logging out issue that seem to affect couple of us?

Marcin,

I'm really busy this month, but hope to be able to contribute with some packages.
I never find time to compare Gentoo-portage and bitbake...

There are 4 versions in portage:
http://www.gentoo-portage.com/Search?search=mahjongg

Two for KDE , one for plane X11 and one (3D) unfortunately for KDE/QT/opengl.

I'd try with
xmahjongg-3.7 (no dependencies from QT):

Runtime Dependencies
xmahjongg-3.7

            ( x11-libs/libSM x11-libs/libX11 )
       virtual/x11 )

Lardman,
spca source is at http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/Download/sp...20060501.tar.gz
There is also a notice about an upcoming change in the spca project here and here

I have recently been looking at getting a small webcam for my Z. I hoped to have all the necessary bits in place for vacation next week, so even with the spca changes coming soon I would be greatful to be able to use it in the meantime.

Hrw,
You mentioned in a previous thread that Zydas zd1211 (USB Wireless-G) is in OE. Could you please add it to an appropriate feed (spitz or upgrades?)
Thank you!

Hi hrw,

Could you add links-x11?  Current version of links in the feeds won't run in graphics mode on gpe because it's compiled for the fb driver.  Afaik XorA added it to oe.

thanks,

Hrw, could you please add tinymail to the OZ/GPE package list?  I'm still hunting for the holy grail - a fast light graphical MUA with IMAP/SSL and GPG support.
