Request For Mtdblock0 Image
« on: May 06, 2006, 05:39:12 pm »
I'm trying to debug a problem with my zaurus (you can read about it's unique situation in https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=19234 ).
For that, I need an image of /dev/mtdblock0 (preferably also of /dev/mtdblock1) which you can get using the dd command.
If someone can please get both of those images and send them to me, I will be very gratefull.

I don't think you realy need image for /dev/mtdblock0. You have bootmanager in this place. Try to install pdaxrom, cacko, openzaurus, and remember, you need to remake your  home. You need to find how to make this. I have a c1k, but I have a friend with a c3k, I don't remember the steps.

That's exactly the problem. I need the bootloader. I need a good image of the rescue rootfs. I need those to rule out other possible problems, but right now - When trying to flash another rom (ANY other rom) the rootfs boots and cardmgr spits out an error, then the CF card is not recognized. Trying to flash with a SD card fails as well, due to other errors on the rootfs.
