What do I need to be able to see Japanese text in console in Opie?

I've installed locale-base-ja-jp, what else? Some font packages? Or do I need to manually copy bdf fonts from the original Sharp ROM?

If my understanding is correct, opie-conlse cannot correctly display multi byte
character.

If patch is tried, konsole-embedded is feeling whether it is possible to display it
possibly well.

I challenged making of konsole Japanese only once. However, because Japanese input cannot have been done for garbage to be displayed on the screen with Emacs, it has abandoned it.

Emacs22 displays Japanese no prob, and has Japanese input. It's in Opie contrib folder in the feed.

I use "qpe-embeddedkonsole" 's patch. But I edited source codes by hand.  

And sorry,konsole's ipk anｄ source codes were lost for the HDD crash.

FDclone I've compiled for Opie, no prob. But the commands are in Japanese, and instead of these it displays garbage...
